Potensis is happy to partner with a National Residential Developer who is looking to expand their Engineering team.
Our client has recently planned a significant increase to their home-building operations across the country. This will increase the demand for infrastructure design and planning, which will in turn require an expansion of their Engineering Team. Consequently, my client is looking to onboard an experienced Design Engineer to help them achieve their ambitious production targets.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager or Technical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the design of infrastructure and groundwork’s packages for residential developments.
Key Responsibilities:
•    Manage procurement of service records and payments for new infrastructure.
•    Oversee external designs for roads, sewers, and foundations (S38, S104, S278 agreements).
•    Secure and manage adoption agreements and associated bonds.
•    Support superstructure design and ensure compliance through peer review.
•    Liaise with teams to discharge planning and building conditions.
About You:
•    HNC/HND in Engineering with 5+ years’ experience.
•    Design background with Civil or Structural Consulting Engineers preferred.
•    Strong negotiation and coordination skills.
•    Proficient with Autodesk products; PDS/MicroDrainage experience a plus.
